Back in Holland

What a conference it was!

We had an amazing time. We met many new people, students, graduates and have attended some very interesting workshops and presentations.

The conference took place in a very interesting conference centre: the Bella Center. This is located a bit outside of Copenhagen.

As participants of the Poster Competition we, obviously, were very much looking forward to giving our presentations and seeing the other presentations.
On Friday,during a 3 hour 'meeting', all students and graduates presented their poster. Although we were nervous, the both of us presented our graduation project succesfully. This resulted in us being 2 of the 3 finalist.

After only half an hour we needed to present our project again. This time, the presenation took place in a much larger room. In the audience there were not only the other participants and staff from several universities, also many people from work field and associations attended the presentations.

All three finalists gave an excellent presentation. However, as there can only be one winner, one presentation was chosen as the best.
Dore became number one and won the European Student Poster Competition 20120.

Friday, we enjoyed a beautiful boottrip and dinner together with the Danish Association, Universities and Sponsors.

Thanks to the great organisation and people we had an absolut fantastic time in Copenhagen. We, therefore, recommend all other FM students to participate in this competition as it will broaden your horizon!
